Fund a Scholarship

Establish a scholarship or contribute to an existing scholarship fund such as the memorial fund, alumni scholarship fund, and departmental scholarship funds of each college.

Endowed Scholarship: A permanent scholarship fund where earnings from the principal balance are used to fund scholarships. Once endowed the principal produces permanent scholarship support on an annual basis. Earnings should accumulate for at least one year before awards are made. The minimum amount required to endow a scholarship is $10,000. Donors have up to three years to reach minimum endowment level.

To establish a Endowed scholarship, please fill out the Endowment Agreement Form (pdf).

Restricted Scholarship: These scholarship funds are distributed to scholarship recipients as they are received. This scholarship is not permanent and requires no minimum gift amount.

To establish a Restricted scholarship, please fill out the Restricted Agreement Form (pdf).

For both the endowed and restricted scholarships the establishing donor can designate funds to the General Scholarship Fund or can specify their own scholarship criteria such as financial need, grade point average, college, field of study, etc.

Please contact Alma Padilla via email or by phone at 480.731.8400 for more information on funding a scholarship.
