Equality Maricopa is a group of Maricopa Community Colleges employees who are or who support gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender (GLBT) persons. Our mission is to offer support and visibility for our members, to provide educational and awareness opportunities about GLBT issues to employees and to provide an official point of contact between our membership and the Maricopa Community Colleges, as well as other, external gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organizations.

Speakers Bureau
Members of Equality Maricopa are available to speak to your college classroom or at your college event on a range of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender
(LGBT) issues. Topics could include: coming out, discrimination, hate crimes, sexual orientation, gender identity, stereotypes, personal stories, legal status and protections, and how to be an ally. We are open to other LGBT issues as well.
