APS Healthcare - Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

MCCCD provides employees the opportunity to receive general counseling and consultation services, at no cost, through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).  APS Healthcare provides 10 free counseling sessions per problem per year for each employee and their covered dependents.  APS provides 24 hour emergency coverage, and a multitude of resources and referrals on various topics.

Elder Care

Long-term care assistance is needed when an individual is unable to care for themselves because of a prolonged illness or disability and can range from help with a daily activity at home, to skilled nursing care in a nursing home.  Eldercare referral services may include research, counseling, facility recommendations, and scheduling interview appointments for appropriate services.  Several agencies are listed in the Plan Description for your reference.
