What's New FY2008-09

Documentation must be provided if you wish to add a dependent (spouse, child, or
partner) to your health coverage. Health coverage affected includes medical, dental, dependent life and family accidental death and personal loss insurance.  See 'What's New FY2008-09' for specific details.

Enrollment Elections -

If you do not make any changes, all current coverage elections will stay the same for FY08-09.

Open Enrollment occurs in April 2008.  After Open Enrollment ends any changes made to your benefit elections must be due to a "Change in Family Status". 

Deadlines:

• April 30, 2008 -- Coordination of Benefits Form
• April 30, 2008 -- Open Enrollment changes
• April 30, 2008 -- Faculty Pay Cycle Enrollment Form
• April 30, 2008 -- Compassionate Leave Form   Compassionate Leave Info.
•  May 15, 2008 -- Waiver Deadline

Short Term Disability -

Increase your short-term disability by one step on-line.  For employees that currently have short-term disability and would like to increase their election amount by one step, you can now do it on-line through PeopleSoft's self-service from 4/1/08 to 4/30/08.

Arizona State Retirement System -

ASRS has increased the contribution rate for FY08-09.  The new contribution rate will be 9.45%.  This will include 8.95% for pension contributions and .50% for LTD contributions.
