APPLYING THROUGH THE FACULTY TRANSFER/INTERNAL PROCESS

In accordance with the Residential Faculty Policy (RFP) Manual, all faculty openings must be posted internally for 10 days in the Faculty Transfer/Internal Opportunities.  All MCCCD employees who qualify are encouraged to apply through the transfer/internal process.

Eligibility

To qualify as an internal applicant, an employee must be working in a MCCCD Governing Board-approved position (except specially funded and short-term). Eligible Skill Center employees are also considered internal applicants.

Specially-funded, temporary, time card, short term employees (including Athletic Specialists and One-Semester-Only or One-Year-Only MCCCD Governing Board approved employees) and adjuncts are NOT internal applicants and are unable to apply through the faculty transfer/internal process.

How to Apply

All qualified employees who are interested in a facaulty transfer position must submit an online application through the internal online application process in their HRMS Employee Self Service account. To access this, sign in to your HRMS Employee Self Service Account, select Self Service, then Recruiting Activities, then Careers.
