At times, it is useful to re-revaluate courses based on course modifications. Whether Maricopa or the University initiates the request for re-evaluation of a course, the process follows.
- The Center for Curriculum & Transfer Articulation submits a request for re-evaluation of a course to the relevant Instructional Council (IC).
- The IC Chair consults with the IC to determine action, and communicates the decision to UCR on behalf of the IC.
- If the chair gives approval to have the course re-evaluated and no changes are planned for the course, UCR enters the course into Arizona Course Equivalency Tracking System (ACETS) as it currently shows in the Maricopa coursebank.
- If there are any concerns regarding the request or there are forthcoming changes to the course, the IC Chair will notify UCR via email. UCR then facilitates the concerns with the universities.
- If there are changes planned in the near future, the course must
go through the Maricopa curriculum process before they can be submitted
to ASU for re-evaluation.
