The chief academic officer of each community college and university may appoint at least one ATF member. When an institution has only one member for an ATF, that person automatically becomes the lead member. If more than one member is appointed from a community college district or a university, the chief academic officer will identify one person as the lead member
At Maricopa, IC members are automatically ATF members unless otherwise
noted. Sometimes the chief academic officer appoints two
people to the IC and designates one of them as the IC member and
the other one as the
ATF member. However, in most cases, the IC and ATF members
are one and the same. IC members represent Maricopa's faculty
on the ATFs and each
IC that feeds into a statewide ATF designates a lead ATF
member.
