Currently, this goal is measured primarily through the tracking of students who transfer from one of the Maricopa Community Colleges to Arizona State University. Additionally, there are measures in the annual report regarding transfer to the Arizona public universities. The Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs provides senior leadership for the transfer mission and is involved in the strategic and operational issues at the District and statewide level. Transfer education and transfer student success is built into the Strategic Plan of the Academic Affairs Division. Developing and maintaining transfer policies and facilitating transfer processes have been the responsibility of the Center for Curriculum & Transfer Articulation (CCTA) within the Division of Academic Affairs. The CCTA serves as the district contact for articulation and transfer of courses and programs with post-secondary institutions. The department provides leadership to the Maricopa Community Colleges in relationship with other educational institutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining articulation agreements. The CCTA maintains an extensive web site to support the dissemination of information to the many stakeholders and partners. Click here to access the CCTA web site.
