1. Complete the online CITI Program Training for the Protection of Human Subjects in Research. (Be sure to enroll under "Maricopa Community Colleges" at: http://www.citiprogram.org/. There is no charge to Maricopa Employees and Students.)
2. Complete the Application to Conduct Human Subjects Research.
3. Be sure to get the signature of the Vice President of Academic Affairs at the college where you wish to collect data. (Provide the signature on the hardcopy.)
*If you are interested in collecting data at multiple colleges, follow the directions for "Research at Multiple Colleges."
4. Submit the completed application by "mail" and email to:
Be sure to include all relevant information.
5. The CRRC will contact you if additional information is needed or the application is not complete. (Be sure your contact information is clearly specified on the application.)
6. The CRRC will inform you of the decision. (In some cases, an application may be forwarded to the MCCCD IRB for full review and notification.)
7. Be sure to allow ample lead time in submitting your application.
