If you are a student at one of the Maricopa Community Colleges, work with your faculty supervisor

1) Complete the online CITI Program Training for the Protection of Human Subjects in Research. (Be sure to enroll under "Maricopa Community Colleges" at: http://www.citiprogram.org/. There is no charge to Maricopa Employees and Students.)

2) Complete the Application to Conduct Human Subjects Research. http://www.maricopa.edu/irb

3) Be sure your faculty supervisor reviews your proposal before it is submitted.

4) Have your faculty supervisor provide his/her signature on the hard copy of the application.

5) Submit the Proposal by "mail" and email to the Chair of your College Research Review Committee (CRRC).

  • a. Mail:
    College Research Review Committee (CRRC)
    Chair of the CRRC - at your campus.
    (Include appropriate signatures on the hard copy.)

    *For the name of your College's CRRC Chair, refer to "Need Help/Resources" section of the web site. Or ask your faculty supervisor.
  • b. Email: Chair of the CRRC - at your campus.

* If you have questions, work with your faculty supervisor and also contact the Chair of the College Research Review Committee (CRRC) at your campus.
