Quarterly
Student Information System (SIS) Application Upgrades & Enhancements
SIS is MCCCD's system of record for all student information and serves both students and staff in the areas of Admissions, Recruiting, Academic Advisement and Curriculum, Student Records, Financial Aid, Student Financials, and Campus Community communications.

When: 

Beginning at 6:00 PM on
Saturday, December 4 through
Sunday, December 5 at 6:00 PM

Services Impacted:

As part of MCCCD's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions agreement (SIS), PeopleSoft provides new vital functionality, incident resolutions, software and hardware tool enhancement and changes to meet mandatory regulations several times a year. These are referred to as "bundle upgrades" and are generally integrated within the MCCCD SIS application quarterly. The next bundle upgrade will be performed this weekend. SIS will be unavailable Saturday, December 4, beginning at 6:00 PM through Sunday, December 5 at 6:00 PM.

Services impacted during the bundle upgrade include:

  • Login to Student and Faculty Centers will NOT be available.
  • Find a Class and Catalog search links on the http://www.my.maricopa.edu page will not be available.
  • College Reporting Teams: BOEXI will NOT be available.
  • EIMS Tools (Employee Tools: PAT & AT - Student Tools: MAW, SAT, SPAT) will NOT be available.
  • Enterprise Blackboard WILL be available. Students WILL be able to authenticate but will NOT be able to change a password during this time.
  • All SIS training and testing databases (EASIS Plus) WILL be available.

Announcements will be placed on my.maricopa.edu and Blackboard login pages indicating that the system is unavailable. MCCCD's Help Desk has been notified.

A "system restored" notice will be posted to the announcement pages at the above URL when the bundle upgrade has been completed.

HRMS
The Human Resource Management System is MCCCD's system of record for all HR related data and serves both staff and self-service employees in the areas of Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor, Training, Talent Management and Performance Management.

When: 

Beginning at 8:00 PM on
Sunday, December 5 through
Sunday, December 5 at 11:00 PM

Services Impacted:

HRMS will be unavailable beginning Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 8:00 PM for patch maintenance. Services are expected to be available on Sunday, December 5 by 11:00 PM.

Services impacted include:

  • HRMS Self Service will NOT be available
  • Time & Labor Reporting (time punch) will NOT be available
  • Job Websites (job search and applications) will NOT be available

Announcements will be placed on my.maricopa.edu pages indicating the system is unavailable. MCCCD's Help Desk has been notified.

If you have any issues accessing the above related services after Sunday, December 5 at 11:00 PM, please contact the MCCCD Call Center and they will escalate system wide issues that occur after normal business hours.
