Library Automation

Sticky GlueBuilding, re-building, and keeping the applications glued together were daily happenings in the Library Automation area this year. Upgrading and revising were weekly agenda items for the team as related to DRA Web2. Cheryl Laieski and Robert Davidson maintained the other Data Research Associates (DRA) modules used by students and staff.

Additionally, Cheryl spent considerable time sustaining the commercial electronic databases, which were accessed remotely or via campus workstations. The New Era also included Self-Charge Stations installed at three colleges. The other colleges desired the funds for different technology improvements for students.

More detailed information about Library Automation at Maricopa during the 1999-2000 fiscal year is available. Monthly status reports about Library Automation are available on the ITS Status Report System.
