Recruiting Application Print Includes PDF
The Recruiting Application now allows applicants to upload PDF documents as part of their applications. This industry standard format now allows for virtually any form of document to be included.

Recruit Auditing
Recruit and applicant data is now being audited, allowing the Employee Services department to track detail changes to applicant data over time. This has greatly enhanced their ability to respond to questions and concerns about how and when data has been updated, and by whom.

ATG/CPU for CFS
The Database Administration and CFS teams worked jointly to implement major application and database security patches to production in CFS. This work brought the application current on patches.

SIS Batch Software Upgrade
Operations worked together with many DSSC ITS teams to realize a major upgrade for our Tidal Enterprise Scheduler system. Tidal is used to operate nightly batch jobs for the SIS. The upgrade ensures timely delivery of information for SIS users. The integration of a full development environment has greatly improved the reliability of the system.

SIS Enhancement
SIS was enhanced to enable students to view their own test scores from anywhere (ASSET, ALEKS, ACCUPLACER, CELSA, COMPASS, etc.) via Student Center Self-Service, meaning they no longer have to go to a campus location to do so.

Maricopa-ASU Pathways Program (MAPP)
DSSC ITS departments and MCCCD Curriculum worked together with ASU to facilitate changes within SIS to accommodate data and communication needs in support of the Maricopa-ASU Pathways Program (MAPP). MAPP is a program that assists students with the transition from the Maricopa Community Colleges to ASU. Students follow a 'MAPP', which is a prescribed sequence of course work at a Maricopa Community College. The 'MAPP' meets all of the requirements for a specified major at ASU and includes the appropriate Associate Degree at the community college. When followed, students are guaranteed admission to an ASU Degree Program. Students participating in the MAPP are also eligible for additional benefits, including tuition incentives and scholarships.

CFS Standby in Grid
The Database Administrators rebuilt the CFS Disaster Standby database to be integrated into Oracle Grid. The Grid allows for better management and monitoring of databases.
