TLC
The Technology Leadership Council (TLC) provides
an
arena for identification of common challenges
in man-
aging technology, collaborative discussion,
recommend-
ation, and promotion of potential solutions.
The TLC
develops and advocates Maricopa’s technology
agenda
with other areas of the organization.
Key Activities:
- Identify strategic directions for technology
- Recommend policies, standards, guidelines, and
common procedures for technology
- Increase District technology purchasing power by
coordinating District-wide purchases and joint
procurement contracts
- Enhance communication of technology issues
throughout MCCCD
- Propose unified technology funding proposals
- Research cost-saving and partnership opportunities
- Guide the development of technology training
programs
- Facilitate the sharing and exchange of ideas,
discoveries, and systems among the colleges and
District Office.
- Establish subgroups and committees as
ap-
propriate
to concentrate on specific issues and/or
make
recommendations to the TLC as a whole
- Establish ongoing liaisons with other advisory
and
functional groups
- Other activities as appropriate
