With a representative of Dynix on-site, the New LIS (Library Information System)
went live on Thursday, May 20, 2004. The MCCCD Libraries were able to circulate library materials, add/edit borrowers, and search both
the MCCCD Catalog and subscription databases. Following Go-Live, we have added the ability to import new bibliographic records, as well as,
add and edit item records.
The Library System Project will continue to move forward with the implementation of Media Scheduling, Digital Library and Consolidated Searching.
We continue to work with Library Technical services and Library staff to establish best practices for library related processes.
