1997 - Student Outcomes Created

As the project progressed, and results came back from classroom testing, there was a need to clarify our vision of student outcomes. Throughout the '97-'98 school year the content team refines the Maricopa Project Student Outcomes. At the end of the year, comparisons with the NCTM Standards and the AMATYC Crossroads documents were favorable. We all seem to be on the same page.

We believe that all students can CREATE mathematics by Connecting, Reasoning, Expressing, Appreciating, Tapping in to technology, and Establishing a foundation.
