Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy represents MCBAA's commitment to ensuring access, retention, and success of African-American faculty, staff and administrators in MCCCD. It is designed to prepare African American employees for entry- to mid-level leadership positions; thereby, increasing the pools for various faculty and administrative positions.

This leadership development program takes a "for us by us (fubu)" approach to prepare future leaders with the tools to excel in the following areas:

• community college issues
• management and leadership styles
• success strategies for upward mobility
• interviewing techniques
• résumé writing

Participants of this program will gain access to local and national professional development resources to support their respective career goals.
