Maricopa PrimeTime offerings serve as the core programming on MCTV.  Practically all features are produced either by the Maricopa County Community College District, at large, or by individual colleges within the District.  In addition, a considerable amount of the video production and post production of these programs is done by student interns, apprentice "stringers" (former students employed as part time temporaries) and even occasional volunteers, all "learning on the job," as part of the Maricopa Community Colleges TELEVISION production team.

The programs featured during Maricopa PrimeTime generally fall into one or more of the following subject catagories:

MaricopArts  (usually scheduled for Monday & Friday* evenings)
Produced in cooperation with the MCCCD Fine Arts Office, these programs represent the cultural side of our Maricopa family.  Programs are mostly produced by individual colleges or individual faculty / student groups, though sometimes in cooperation with more than one college or group. Some programs are produced by, or in cooperation with, external organizations.  Also, professional artists and companies are sometimes invited to perform as featured guests on MCTV.

(*Note: Friday's programs are currently repeated on most Saturdays & Sundays.)

Maricopa Sports & Entertainment  (mostly Thursday evenings, in season)
Seasonal sports are featured programs on MCTV.  Produced by Maricopa Community Colleges TELEVISION, these programs are sure to be a hit with the sports fan in everyone.  Lighter entertainment may also be presented, at times, such as pop music events, comedy showcases or professional features produced for the college student audience.

Maricopa Views  (usually scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings)
Programs presenting speakers, lectures, and forums, including monthly MCCCD Governing Board Meetings, covered and/or produced by Maricopa Community Colleges TELEVISION. Informative and political at times, these programs keep viewers up-to-date on a number of campus, District and community topics, and sometimes even issues or events of national or international scope may be featured.
