MIRA
is the Chancellor's initiative aimed at assessing and managing
risks and opportunities. MIRA seeks to break down the limitations
of traditional risk management's approach to managing risks
by incorporating the broader concepts of Enterprise Risk Management.
MIRA's
goal is to embed risk assessment and management into the District's
daily operations so as to minimize surprises and maximize opportunities
and to be more responsive to the ever-changing needs of the students
and communities we serve.
MIRA's
success depends on the coordinated and cooperative response
from employees on every level - individually and collectively.
