| MISSION

The DAC promotes and
recommends activities that reflect the values and realize the
accomplishment of the Governing Board Diversity goal.
We achieve this through
review of policies and procedures, the identification of training
opportunities, the monitoring of campus culture and climate, the
dissemination of information through a variety of formats and a shared
understanding of what diversity means.

We celebrate the
diversity of our communities and pledge to promote and recognize the
strengths as reflected in our employees and students. We believe no one
is more important than another, each is important in a unique way, and
we depend on each other to accomplish our mission.

outreach activities in the community, and employee training
