Council reviewed the previous meeting's discussion on Council's request of a program review for MCLI.  Council heard concerns brought to Council members from the faculty.  Council next reviewed the discussion with one Board member last fall who said that all programs should be reviewed including faculty programs.  Council discussed its intent for the MCLI program review and the following excerpt from the December 10, 2002, FEC minutes were read, "A point was raised that Council should preface the request with an acknowledgment that MCLI has done much for faculty.  It was stated that to ask for a program review of MCLI, a faculty program, would be a politically good move to show that faculty are willing to review their own programs first before requesting that other programs be reviewed."  Rosemary Kesler reminded Council that Dr. Solley, Maria Harper-Marinick and other MCLI staff would visit the February 11, 2003, Council meeting.
