Acting on a suggestion from the 2005 Convocation Committee, Carmela Arnoldt asked Council to agree upon an amount to donate funds for prizes to be given at the event.  Sandra Stuebner suggested that Council donate two of the major prizes.  A motion was made and seconded to donate $1000 toward the purchase of prizes.  A vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
