Council was told that when Dr. Leyba was asked about the progress of the proposals submitted for approval for two Maricopa teams to attend the faculty recruitment symposium in November, he responded that he had not seen anything.  Naomi Story said that she did not know when to expect a response about the two teams' proposals.  She said that the proposals were tied to each other so both proposals would be either accepted or rejected.  Naomi stated that each team consisted of five faculty members, one from each college, and one Dean of Instruction, Brian Tippett and Ken Roberts.
