Reyes Medrano reported on the following items:
Wallet Cards - Reyes reported that he paid for the wallet cards with the Faculty Association logo from the President's Fund.
Membership Cards - The PR firm is working on the membership cards.
Chancellor's Executive Council (CEC) Faculty Items - Reyes informed Council about the meeting with Senator O'Halleran and CEC's reaction when he told them about O'Halleran's comments. Reyes also reported that the CEC subcommittee for budget evaluations had met to review Debbie Thompson's recommendations and the recommendations from Council members that Reye's had received thus far. The purpose of the subcommittee is to review recommendations for where to make budgets cuts to balance the budget. Reyes said that the subcommittee discussed implementing a retirement incentive, cutting the District Office budget and sending some staff out to the colleges. Reyes said that he would bring proposals back next time. Barry Vaughan asked that Council members send any recommendations for cutting the budget to Reyes as soon as possible.
