Barry Vaughan discussed the situation that some faculty have been contacted at their homes by law enforcement officers for employment-related matters.  Barry reported that there was a suggestion for Council to give blanket approval for Faculty Association members to contact Mike Napier's office immediately in such circumstances and that non-members could be referred to Mike at their own expense.  A point was made that a clear procedure was needed from Reyes Medrano on what to do if contacted by law enforcement officers.  A motion was made and seconded to approve the suggestion.  A vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
