Council was reminded that two faculty are interested in serving as Legislative Chair for the upcoming year.  Council recalled that biographies and vision statements were desired from both faculty before a decision is made.  Council briefly discussed duties and responsibilities for the position.  A question was raised if the compensation for the Chair position could be taken as reassigned time and the answer was, "Yes."  A point was made that a job description for the position should be written so whoever is chosen as Legislative Chair knows Council's expectations.  Tom Trollen volunteered to write the job description with Reyes Medrano's assistance.  Another point was made that job descriptions were needed for the other Council representatives who serve on various committees.
