MCCCD FACULTY ASSOCIATION

Who We Are:  The membership of the Faculty Association is comprised of full-time residential faculty at the ten colleges of the Maricopa Community College District.

Purpose:  The purpose of the Faculty Association is to represent the common interests of faculty to the administration and Governing Board regarding educational priorities, employment rights and responsibilities, and employment conditions and salaries.

Goals:  Through its organizational structure of representation, the goals of the Faculty Association are:

· To provide means of communication by which faculty can participate in the process of making decisions regarding the development and implementation of 
educational priorities, the establishment of  budgetary priorities, and the determination of future directions of the District.

·To ensure that faculty is provided with the support necessary for the delivery of quality education in academic disciplines, occupational programs, and services for students.

·To represent faculty in bilateral negotiations with the District Administration and the Governing Board in the establishment or revision of all policies affecting
employment.
