The Faculty Executive Council approved the recommendation that Doyle Burke of Mesa Community College serve as the Legislative Committee Chair for 2002-2003.  The Legislative Committee serves under the direction of and reports to the Faculty Executive Council.  The Legislative Committee also works closely with the Faculty Association lobbyist, Jamieson Gutierrez, on legislative matters and issues that are of importance to Maricopa faculty.  Faculty interested in serving on the Legislative Committee can contact their Faculty Senate Presidents.
