Paid Education Leave is a benefit for which PSA employees may
apply. Its purpose is to provide employees an opportunity to
further their careers and employment opportunities through the
completion of a Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree that relates
to their job or career while being paid 100% of salary. In order
to apply, an employee must be a regular full-time employee with a
minimum of six years as a regular Governing Board approved
employee. The leave may be granted for up to but not more than
one year. The employee will need to provide evidence that
sufficient college credits can be completed during the leave to
complete the degree while on leave.
