4.2 Occupational Safety and Health
Arizona Revised Statute §23-403 requires that each employer provide a safe place of employment and complies with occupational safety and health standards. Per A.R.S. §23-427, employers shall make, keep and preserve, and make available to the Industrial Commission of the State of Arizona records relating to occupational safety and health. The administration of occupational safety programs shall be delegated by the Chancellor to the appropriate college designee. Each college/center administration shall establish and administer its own plan to provide a safe work environment for the employees at that location.
Adopted April 9, 2001 per the approved process for Administrative Regulations. Regulation replaced the former Civil Defense & Planning Guide.
