This issue of the Maricopa Steward spotlights the areas of records and records information management. Every employee, department or division within the Maricopa Community Colleges handles records on a daily basis–whether writing or responding to e-mail, creating reports, processing requests–whatever documents memorialize the work that you do, as a public sector organization, we are required to maintain and destroy records according to an established retention schedule.
