AMERICAN EXPRESS CORPORATE CARD

Dear Fellow Maricopa Employee,

If you have an American Express Corporate Card, we have important information for you.

We received notice from American Express that all MCCCD Corporate Cardholders will be assessed an annual $55 fee. This will take effect February 1.

Many years ago, MCCCD signed an agreement with American Express to provide cards to eligible MCCCD employees for their personal use. This was at no cost to MCCCD or the employee. A number of you have participated in this program over the years.

With this recent announcement of an annual fee for all corporate cardholders, you might reconsider your ownership of this card and to weigh the value of the card in consideration of this new fee.

If you wish to cancel your card, you need to call American Express at the 800 number listed on the back your card. If you have any questions, please contact American Express or Mr. Chris Mandel, a Buyer in our Purchasing Division at: chris.mandel@domail.maricopa.edu.

If you do not want to cancel your card, do nothing and the fee will be added to your February statement.

Remember, this change goes into effect in February so you need to make a decision about your continuance of this card soon.
