providers of services. You are also not allowed to share
one vendor's quotes with another.
The acceptance
of gifts and gratuities of value from outside interests
such as vendors is illegal. When
in doubt about the acceptance of gifts that may be considered
customary, such as imprinted pens or candy, please contact
Purchasing. Remember, the best guideline is DO
NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING OF VALUE FROM A VENDOR.
Conflict of Interest deals with situations in
which potential business contacts are relatives or others
that have involvement with the process. This would include
buying from friends or relatives. All employees that may
have a potential conflict of interest must complete this Disclosure
of Substantial Interest Form. This
form must be completed and submitted online annually.
