505: Changes in Construction Contracts

At any time the Purchasing Manager may, in a signed letter without notice to the surety, approve a change order that may make:

  1. Changes in the work within the scope of the contract; and

  2. Changes in the time for performance of the contract that do not alter the scope of the contract.
If this change order increases or decreases the contractor's cost of or the time required for performance of any part of the work under this contract, whether or not changed by the order, an adjustment shall be made and the contract shall be modified in writing. A change order shall be used for this process.
