The Maricopa County Community College District is accepting sealed proposals for: ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES, FOR THE MARICOPA SKILL CENTER EXPANSION AND REMODEL, PROJECT #090039
Services to be performed: Design for the expansion and remodel of the existing Maricopa Skill Center of approximately 24,500 square feet of new space and 20,000 square feet of remodeling. The existing Skill Center, containing 72,000 net square feet (75,000 gsf), was first constructed in 1979. Several minor interior remodel projects have occurred since then but the exterior shell remains largely unchanged since first constructed. The new construction should be energy efficient as is practical and possible. The completed project is anticipated to successfully integrate new and existing construction into one harmonious architectural statement.
The District intends to construct this project using a construction manager at risk delivery system. The CM@R will be selected shortly after consultant selection.
