Role and Purpose:
The Strategic Planning
Steering Team (SPST) provides technical staff support to the
Strategic Planning Advisory Council (SPAC). The role
of the Steering Team is to compile and disseminate the
strategic planning data/information from the colleges and
district offices to support the SPAC in the development and
implementation of a comprehensive district-wide strategic
planning process. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical staff
support to SPAC in areas of Budget Research, Institutional
Effectiveness, Maricopa Governance, Instruction, Human
Resource, Technology, College and Facilities Planning.
- Collects and disseminates
accurate and timely data for the use in strategic planning
activities.
- Conducts and monitors
on-going environmental (internal and external) scanning
activities for SPAC.
- Maintains on-going
communication between various units of SPAC.
- Provides support to SPAC on
various projects as requested.
- Maintains a MCCCD data
warehouse of pertinent data to support strategic planning
district-wide.
Reports to:
The Strategic Planning
Steering Team reports directly to SPAC.
