| What is Maricopa Strategic
Planning?
The purpose of strategic
planning is contained in the definition of planning. Planning is
anticipating trends and determining the best strategies to
achieve organizational goals and objectives. For Maricopa, the
strategic planning process provides the framework to advance the
district’s mission, vision and goals; this is accomplished by
each of the colleges/units specifically taking action to better
meet the needs of students and the internal and external
communities and thereby advance their individual college
missions, visions and goals to serve students and the internal
and external community.
