Financial Aid

Financial assistance is available to help ensure you pay for higher education. Financial assistance is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need. However, certain funds are also specified for recognition of special talents and achievements.

You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Specific information regarding financial assistance may be obtained from the college Office of Student Financial Aid. Scholarships are also available and require separate applications.

You should check with the office of Student Financial Assistance at the college you intend to receive a degree or certificate of completion in determining when to apply for financial aid. Generally, application processing for federal programs takes approximately EIGHT weeks.
