5th Annual Transfer Awareness Week
March 24-28, 2008
The Maricopa District Governing Board has adopted goals and strategic directions that emphasize the importance of the transfer mission. Specifically, the Board goal on transfer states: Students who transfer to a baccalaureate degree granting institution will be prepared to successfully attain their academic goals.
The Maricopa Community Colleges support Transfer Education through multiple partnerships. These partnerships provide opportunities for students to earn credits at any of the Maricopa colleges and apply them towards the completion of a baccalaureate degree.
The event is designed to support the above Board goal and continue the development of Maricopa transfer partnerships. College and university partners from around the country will come together at our colleges to assist prospective transfer students in making successful transitions. In continued support of student success and the above goals, Maricopa faculty and staff are invited to learn more about the various transfer opportunities our students have before them.
