About WLG
"Strengthening Community through Sharing and Learning"
We are looking forward to a very exciting and dynamic year for WLG. As Executive Council members, we hope each of you will share in our desire to maintain a strong, beneficial, and visible WLG organization. In our positions as the WLG Executive Council Co-Chairs this year, we look forward to having you on the team, and hope that you will take the time to establish challenging goals for yourself in your position. In addition, we hope you will achieve personal satisfaction by taking advantage of the many opportunities to develop personally and professionally that will be presented throughout the year.
We have selected "Strengthening Community through Sharing and Learning" as our theme for the year because our main focus will be to strengthen WLG and promote professional growth. This will occur by providing quarterly professional growth activities at existing WLG events.
In addition to improving communication and building community, our goal is to develop a comprehensive website which will expand, promote, and support cooperation and collaboration between WLG and other groups. To promote professional growth and community, we will also be encouraging cross functional events through partnerships with other district groups to further the interest of women in the district.
Once again, welcome aboard! We are happy that you have brought your time and talents to this wonderful organization!
