Jennifer Kaufman Fourness joined the Center for Workforce Development in July 2006 as the district wide coordinator for the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education grant. Jennifer works collaboratively with occupational administrators throughout the district and the Arizona Department of Education in strategic planning and budget management initiatives. Jennifer is also a member of the Center’s public workforce system team and participates in continuous program improvement projects related to services provided in local one-stop centers.
Jennifer’s broad background includes program development, teaching and grant writing. From March 2000 – July 2006 Jennifer worked for Arizona State University (ASU), most recently as the coordinator of professional programs in the School of Extended Education. She holds a B.A. in Arts Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and an M. Ed in Higher and Postsecondary Education from ASU’s Division of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
