15-Month Timeline for Postsecondary Perkins Basic Grant Reporting

*ADE due dates are subject to change. MCCCD due dates are communicated directly to program administrators and generally range between one to four weeks prior to ADE due dates depending upon length and depth of the report. Please contact the Manager, Workforce Initiatives for more detailed information.

Grant Year ADE Due Date* Item
2010-2011 June 4, 2010 Deadline for Perkins Basic Grant Submittal and Occupational Program Application (OPA) for Substantial or Final Approval - See page 17 of the Postsecondary Manual
2010-2011 June 18, 2010 Districts receive notification of substantially approved Basic Grant applications. If substantially approved, districts may begin obligating Perkins funds as of July 1.
2009-2010 June 30, 2010 Final Basic Grant Amendment (due 90 days before grant period ends).
2010-2011 July 1, 2010 Beginning date of new fiscal grant period.
2010-2011 July 7, 2010 Final DEADLINE for Completed Basic Grant components and OPA revisions to be submitted to ADE.
2010-2011 Aug 4, 2010 ADE grant approval for all completed applications.
2009-2010 Sept 30, 2010 End date of grant period.
2009-2010 Dec 31, 2010 Final Program Completion Narrative (on OPA form) and Financial Completion Reporting.
2010-2011 Feb 25, 2011 Mid-Year Narrative Report (on OPA form).
2010-2011 June 30, 2011 Final Basic Grant Amendment (due 90 days before grant period ends).
2010-2011 Sept 30, 2011 End date of grant period.
