Erin Sweeten
Coordinator of Curriculum and Externships, High-Tech Workforce Initiative

Ms. Sweeten coordinates faculty externships and curriculum reform for the High-Tech Workforce Initiative. She works with faculty and industry representatives to build partnerships, create opportunities for professional development, and update High-Tech Manufacturing curriculum. She joined the Center for Workforce Development in 2007.
Ms. Sweeten comes most recently from the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where she worked in the Distance Education department as an instructor, technology specialist, and project coordinator. Before earning her M.A. from the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars, she taught in Benin, West Africa, as a Peace Corps volunteer.
