Who we serve
Our colleges welcome all kinds of students – new high school grads eager to start their academic journeys, professionals looking to move up at work, and adults of all ages excited to learn for a lifetime. We’re committed to excellence in education and building a trained workforce that can power a thriving economy.
To help ensure the continued growth and prosperity of the communities we serve, we’re taking a lead in environmental responsibility. From our LEED-certified building and renovation practices to the programs of study we offer, Maricopa Community Colleges is dedicated to providing students with learning opportunities related to sustainability as well as modeling them in our own operations.
If your goal is a four-year degree, you can lower your overall tuition costs by starting at Maricopa Community Colleges. Then, our transfer pathways with Arizona’s public universities and partnerships with other colleges will help make the transfer as smooth as possible.
The Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation helps make our vision of a high-quality, affordable education possible. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designated by the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD). It receives generous support from companies, businesses, and individuals who embrace our mission.
Funding and taxes
Maricopa Community Colleges gets its funding from several places, including tuition, fees, and property taxes, as well as state aid and donations. These funds ensure we’re able to support the faculty and staff who guide your education, as well as invest in growth and ongoing improvements.
