Adult Basic Education (ABE)
Maricopa Community Colleges’ Adult Basic Education (ABE) Transition Program is an 18-month college-to-career preparation program for students who are 16 years or older, who attend High School Equivalency or high-level English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA) classes at Rio Salado College, or have a GED.
English and English as a Second Language programs
Whether you’re coming to us from high school, many years in the workforce, or from a different culture, our English and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs enable you to become proficient in basic and more advanced English skills. Additionally, we help prepare you for college-level courses.
Advance your career with a professional certification, academic certification, or endorsement. Fulfill continuing education or professional development requirements or add an endorsement in a specialized area onto already existing credentials. We offer plenty of options to choose from.
Access a unique education pathway by applying to one of our grant-funded programs. Get the necessary tools to immediately start in a specialized trade or industry. These programs provide financial assistance for qualified students.
