Our new bachelor’s degree program in information technology (IT) will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in a technology career in industries ranging from local to global organizations, across virtually all public and private sectors, including retail, government, health care education, and industrial firms.
This program is offered at Phoenix College, but up to 90 credits may be taken at any of the Maricopa Community Colleges.

CIT Advising Team
- Students in this 120-credit hour program will complete coursework in computer hardware/support, programming, ethics and regulations, operating systems, networking, database management, data analysis, project management, information and cyber security, and emerging trends in information technology.
- General education courses for this program explore broad foundational knowledge and essential skills to prepare students to contribute to society through personal, social, and professional interactions with others.
- In addition to teaching experience, program faculty are dedicated practitioners with industry experience leading IT projects for Fortune 500 companies, such as Dell Technologies and Computer Sciences Corporation.
- The opportunity to complete hands-on, work-based experiences is included in this program.
