March 08, 2006 (Tempe, AZ) - Dan Moldea, one of the leading investigative reporters in the United States, will speak about his experiences exposing corruption in politics, big business, organized labor, the entertainment industry and professional sports in a lecture scheduled for 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 22 in the Bulpitt Auditorium at Phoenix College, 1202 W. Thomas Road in Phoenix.
Moldea's talk is free and open to the public. His presentation is part of the Maricopa Community Colleges Honors Programs 2005-06 Honors Forum Lecture Series titled "Popular Culture: Shaping & Reflecting Who We Are."
Over the past 25 years, Moldea has become well known for his uncompromising investigations of formidable institutions such as the Teamsters, the Mafia, the Reagan White House, the National Rifle Association, the Los Angeles Police Department, the National Football League, The New York Times, and the illegal gambling community.
Moldea has authored many celebrated and controversial books and written articles for major newspapers. He also has been featured on national television programs. Moldea has presented his multimedia program, The Mafia in America to audiences across the country since 1983.
