Exploring the Roots of Our Masculinity Workshop

Wednesday, September 25, 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Mesa Community College | Navajo Room

Join us for the Male Empowerment Network's inaugural workshop, Exploring the Roots of Our Masculinity, where Men of Color can come together in a supportive and reflective space. This workshop will challenge participants to explore how society shapes our understanding of masculinity and how this impacts who we are as men in educational environments.

What to Expect...

Build Community: Connect with fellow Men of Color with similar experiences and challenges.

Explore Masculinity: Reflect on where we learn what it means to be a 'man' and how these perceptions influence our identities.

Discuss Values: Examine the values that shape us as Men of Color and how these can guide us through the complexities of higher education.

Use Your Strengths: Identify your gifts and talents and learn how to leverage them for success in academic spaces.

Who Should Attend?

This event is open to all current students, prospective students, faculty, and staff. Whether you're just starting your educational journey or are looking to support others, this workshop is designed to inspire reflection and empowerment.
