Maricopa Community Colleges is proud to announce that Dr. Jess Evans, Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer, has been appointed to the National Applied AI Consortium’s (NAAIC) National AI Business Industry Leadership Team (BILT).
As a recognized leader in educational technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation, Dr. Evans brings deep expertise in orchestrating large-scale academic and technical initiatives. Her addition strengthens BILT’s mission to define and disseminate the cutting-edge skills needed for workforce-ready graduates emerging from applied AI programs at community colleges.
“The mission of the board is critical to help provide every opportunity for students to gain valuable knowledge and skills needed in the workforce today,” said Dr. Evans. “The partnership forged between industry technology leaders and accomplished faculty is a recipe for professional success for our students.”
