After a comprehensive internal search, Maricopa Community Colleges has selected Kimberly Britt, Ph.D., as the system’s next Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost. Dr. Britt brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in academic and student affairs to the position. She replaces Dr. Lisa Rae Armour, who departed the system in December 2025.
“Dr. Britt’s background, accomplishments in higher education, and time serving as Phoenix College’s President have prepared her to lead in this critical role,” said Dr. Steven R. Gonzales, Chancellor of Maricopa Community Colleges. “Her firsthand experience with the life-changing impact of education remains a valuable asset as she begins in her new role, working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators across our 10-college system.”
